Sophie is a self-taught artist who has been painting since childhood. With a background in multimedia design and physiotherapy, she channels her passion for unity and human connection into her art. Through colorful brushstrokes, Sophie conveys her emotions, inspirations, and her vision for a better world. Her paintings are her voice, sharing the changes she hopes to see and the stories that move her.
Kasper is passionate and dedicated in documentary photography, writing and painting, focusing on capturing images and poems that shed light on social and global issues. He has been spending much time on the African continent, and lived as a child in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The many times back and forth allows Kasper to build trust with his subjects and capture intimate, honest moments that provoke thought, inspire change, and raise awareness. Kasper believes that photography and poetry has the power to foster empathy and understanding, bridging gaps between different cultures, and inspiring collective action for a better future.
We had a gallery and creative studio in Nordhavn, Copenhagen. After one year with a physical location we decided to expand our horizons. Currently, we are in South Africa, evolving NTTM Studio in exciting new ways. Kasper is self-publishing his book, Home Away From Home, through NTTM Studio, while we work on a new art collection to complement the book launch. Alongside these projects, we’re deeply engaged in art initiatives in Soweto, where we’ve been painting murals with children in Dube and Kliptown. We’ve also joined SCAR (Soweto Children Art Residency) to lend a hand wherever needed. Soon, we’ll also collaborate with the community around Pilgrim’s Inn in Phiri, painting murals and creating art together.
We believe art can create a new start, break down walls, and be a link between us all.
We are NEXT TO THE MESS.
